Insurance Coverage
We are an In-network provider with BlueCross BlueShield and Aetna and out of network with other insurance plans that cover acupuncture. Some Medicare Advantage plans cover acupuncture for low back pain only. We are happy to provide you with a superbill to submit to an out of network insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
Acupuncture Coverage for Veterans
Veterans can receive acupuncture treatments through the VA’s Community Care programs with prior authorization. These programs are designed to improve timely access to healthcare by allowing Veterans to visit approved providers outside of the VA system. TriWest administers the Veterans Choice Program in Arizona, and the process begins by asking your VA provider for a referral with authorization through the Choice programs. HSA and FSA
Payment for your treatment and any prescribed Chinese herbs is required at the time of treatment. If needed, we will provide you a receipt for reimbursement.
